Love in action is a Community Development Corporation that provides help and relief to those in crisis, disaster and economic hardship. Through our team of community volunteers, we offer support, services and education to assist families in their recovery efforts after crisis or natural disaster through goods and services.
We also provide physical, emotional and educational resources to economically disadvantage families to aid in economic empowerment and stability. These efforts are bought to our neighbors and communities through Training and Development programs as well as Community Servicing and Cultural Awareness.
The importance of continuing education and training is invaluable towards the goal of accomplishing financial stability. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to live independently and earn a decent wage. LIA can provide resources, support, and training that will help employees polish their existing skills and learn new ones they need to make the next step in becoming gainfully employed. We provide that extra little motivation to help you grow and improve professionally.
This service will help provide education and resources to our neighbors to identify and develop their life goals, dreams and visions. We will provide counseling and coaching to help identify challenges that may hinder economic, social and education success. The goal is to help foster vision that will eradicate personal limitations.
We provide financial assistance to low income families and individuals who are facing an emergency impacting their housing, such as needing help with rent, food and utilities. We will also provide financial education and counseling for economic stability and empowerment.
